SENIOR PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY
High school senior year is a momentous event, one you'll want to record every awesome memory associated with it. One of the most important steps in this plan is the senior portrait session. These special images will be recorded in albums, portraits on the wall, possibly even in the high school yearbook. They will be distributed to family and friends as a memento of this significant life event, posted on social media and made into graduation announcements, making it important to choose the right photographer.
With an experience designed specifically for graduates, they'll be ready to take on the world with a renewed sense of self-worth. With so many changes surrounding high school and graduation, this year can be stressful but we make photos easy, fun and customized to let the real you shine.

Celebrate your senior's high school year with a custom Senior Portrait Experience; a timeless snapshot of the person they are as he or she graduates into adulthood. These portraits are created in close collaboration with you and your senior. We create each shot with their favorite quotes, styles and shooting locations to highlight their unique experience.
What To Expect
Booking: First step, a quick phone consultation where we discuss your vision for the finished images, and whether wall art, digitals or an album would suit your family best. This is where we choose your session date and send over your booking proposal to pay your retainer fee and sign your contract.
Planning: After booking, I’ll send over a questionnaire so we can be best prepared for your session! I'll have you send me your ideas, and you can scroll our Pinterest for inspiration. I help you to decide on outfits for the shoot, along with the hobbies and personal items to include. We'll chat again 1-2 weeks prior to your scheduled session to finalize plans.
Session Day: Shoot day, yay! We’ll meet 1-2 hours before sunset depending on your chosen package and location choice. Generally we shoot for about an hour, but can run up to 2 hours if we're doing lots of variety!
Image Selection: Around 2 weeks after your session, your images will be ready for your Viewing and Ordering Session. We may do this over video chat, in person at the studio or at your home! This is where you will select the images you’d like to purchase and complete your image and product order.
All Senior Portrait Sessions Include:
Step-by-step planning guidance for you and your senior, including an optional wardrobe consultation in your home, 30-60 minutes of shooting time with professional posing instruction and interaction, 1-2 locations and my unique editing style + pro retouching. Our 2000 sq foot studio space sits conveniently in downtown Sweetwater, which is where most sessions take place. There are variety of locations in the west Texas area that we can use for your session, as well. Your school, your local park, the athletic field you grew up playing on, the downtown are of your hometown, etc. If you have a certain spot in mind or would like to use one that was seen in our portfolio, just let us know! Otherwise, we are open to shooting at new areas that we haven’t been before.

Where Are You Located?
Our private photography studio is located in downtown Sweetwater in west-central Texas, just a few hours from Abilene, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Lubbock, San Angelo, Wichita Falls and San Antonio.

What Services Do You Offer?
At Leslee Shaw Photography, I offer a luxury experience you cannot get anywhere else! I specialize in Beauty and Boudoir Portraits while also offering Maternity, Newborns, Headshots, Branding, Families and Seniors. Full planning assistance, in person wardrobe consultation, private magazine style pro photoshoot with posing guidance and professional retouching included in all sessions. It is a true luxury service like no other.

How Long Does A Session Typically Last?
Portrait Sessions typically last 45-90 minutes. It all depends on your session type, the size of your group, how many outfits you’ve chosen and if you have multiple locations in mind. Mini sessions last 20 minutes and are offered on select days only.

How Long Does It Take To Get My Photos?
Turn around time from “session” to “proof gallery” is 7-10 days. After gallery is delivered, you will have 2 weeks to order prints, digitals, wall art and albums.

What Locations Do You Shoot At?
I primarily shoot in my downtown Sweetwater photography studio but also offer on location sessions. These locations are some fan favorites, though: Lake Sweetwater & Trammel, Newman Park, Downtown (Abilene/Sweetwater/Roscoe), ACU, Texas Tech, Fisher County (Private Property).

What If I Need To Reschedule?
I understand that life happens, whether we want it to or not so my clients can rest assured that if something does come up, you are allowed to reschedule your session within 2 weeks, with no additional fee. If I am unable to shoot your session, you will be notified ASAP and offered the next available date. If you no call no show, you are forfeiting your retainer fee and we will not schedule with you again.

How Would You Describe Your Style?
I love authentic images and raw emotion. I love dark colors and warm, golden sunshine in the fall, and a bright, airy look for Spring/Summer. I seek out genuine moments that you can FEEL. Most photos are lightly posed, meaning I’ll help get you into place first and then encourage interaction and real expressions while we’re shooting. I also love getting those shots of your family interacting, in the in between moments.

Do You Release RAW Images?
Much like chefs do not deliver “raw” food, I do not deliver RAW images. Not only do they require specialized programs to open, what makes my art special is my unique.
